Middle School
Middle school is an exciting time as students become more independent, explore diverse learning opportunities, and form lasting friendships. At The Christian Academy, we partner with parents to support positive academic, social, and spiritual growth during this pivotal season.
The primary goal of our middle school program is to help students strengthen their identity in Christ while preparing for high school and beyond. We support students as they adjust to increased independence and responsibility, challenge them academically, encourage them to take initiative, and nuture Christ-likeness.
Seamless Transition
The transition from elementary to middle school can be exciting yet intimidating. Our Middle School staff supports students and families through this change, with smaller class sizes allowing for personalized attention. All students take study skills and character development classes, fostering independence and guiding them to navigate this new world from a biblical perspective.
Academic Rigor
The transition to middle school brings increased academic rigor. Classes challenge students to not only understand content but also apply it to all aspects of their lives. Core classes that meet daily include math, history, science, Bible, and language arts. Additionally, students take art, music, and physical education, and can choose from a varierty of electives.
Caring Community
At TCA your middle school child will feel known, loved, and be mentored by Christian teachers, coaches, and staff. They will develop a growth mindset — the belief that their success is in their own hands and skills can be cultivated through perseverance. They will have numerous opportunities to strengthen their God-given talents in the arts, competitive athletics, leadership, and ministry And, most importantly, they will grow deeper in their faith through small groups, retreats, weekly chapels, and regular prayer/Bible study.
